Mary Summers, an eighth-grader from Seven Rivers Christian, dominated the girls’ varsity race, finishing first in 18:43.0. Ranked as the top runner in Class 1A, Summers continues to impress after a strong cross-country season and track performance. Avery Chatman of East Lake placed second with a time of 20:11.0.

Sophomore sensation Skylar Manatt of Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel) claimed victory in the boys’ varsity race with a time of 16:33.0. Nathan Webb of Land O’Lakes followed closely, finishing in 16:42.0. Mitchell High School secured the team title, with three top-ten finishers and a total score of 53.
