The 6th Annual FLYRA Nature Coast State qualifier took place today in Sumterville. The boy’s middle school race saw Donovan Brown of Round Lake Charter Athletics win in a time of 10:28 for 3k. The overall team winners in the race were the Ocala Distance Project with 64 points. Placing 2nd were the Hillsborough Harriers with a score of 66 points. In the girl’s middle school race we saw Alex Palekar of Boca Warriors win in a time of 11:30 for 3k. Boca Warriors won the team race with a score over 32 points. Placing 2nd was Hillsborough Harriers with a score of 54 points. The elementary school boys 2k was won by Brian Aguilar of Round Lake Charter Athletics in a time of 7:34. Round Lake won the team race with 18 points. The elementary school girl’s 2k was won by Brielle Vylonis of Round Lake Charter with a time of 7:45.
