Gate River Run 15K & 5K — Jacksonville

While the Gate River Run is best known for its 15K, the accompanying 5K draws a competitive field every March. The course winds through downtown Jacksonville and across the Main Street Bridge. It is a USATF-certified course with age group awards and a post-race party on the Riverwalk.

Tomoka Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K — Ormond Beach

Held every January along the scenic Ormond Scenic Loop, the Tomoka 5K offers a shaded, flat course through Tomoka State Park. The small-race feel and natural setting make this a favorite among competitive runners on the east coast of Florida.

This St. Patrick's Day weekend 5K in Safety Harbor has become one of Tampa Bay's most popular spring races. The certified course runs along the waterfront, and the post-race celebration features live music and local food vendors. Fast times are common on this flat out-and-back route.

Charity 5Ks

These races raise money for worthy causes while bringing communities together. They are welcoming to all paces and often include post-race festivals.
