Fifth at Cecil in 15:44, 26 seconds up on the 16:10.1 that made him 15th in 4A at state as a freshman. He was the second-fastest sophomore in the Elite field behind nobody at all in his class, and he beat Sallault by three seconds.
Niceville ranks tenth as a team but Olson is 72 seconds clear of his own second man, which is the widest front-runner gap on any ranked team in Florida.
