The one 3A girl who has already raced somebody good. Vincent finished second at the Lecanto Invitational in 18:40.7, 7.8 seconds behind Mary Summers of Seven Rivers Christian, who is the No. 1 runner in 1A and seventh in our overall Florida top ten. Vincent was seventh in 3A at state in 18:38.4, so on the raw numbers she opened at her November level in August, which is a real result.
How much better than that depends entirely on Lecanto. At the +26.7 the team rankings use, she converts to 18:14.0 and this is comfortably second. At the median of the same seven-runner sample, she converts to 18:37.5 and she is fifth. We are ranking her on the first reading because it is the one applied consistently everywhere else in this project, and flagging it because it is the weakest number on the page. Zephyrhills sent her to Lecanto alone.
