Fourth in the Cecil Elite race in 15:39, 38 seconds faster than the 16:16.7 that placed him 21st in 4A at state. He is the front man on the second-ranked team in Florida, and Nease's 55-second spread across five is the tightest of any contending program in any class.

Fourth at Cecil in 15:39, a 37.7-second improvement, and the front end of a Nease team that finished second to Belen and projects second in 4A. Teammate Matthew Ishee ran 15:54 the same night, 25.7 seconds up. Whatever Nease did this summer worked on more than one guy.
