Celebration 10K & 5K Pancake Run and Walk presented by the Rotary Club of Celebration

DESCRIPTION:

This Celebration Rotary Run/Walk has established itself in the 22-plus years that it has been held as a premier event within the Central Florida community, attracting hundreds of participants each year. Known as the ever most popular “The Pancake Run,” the event features separate 10k and 5k courses for runners and walkers of all ages. Participants will enjoy a fast, flat route through beautiful Celebration, Florida, on a USTAF-certified course.  If you cannot join us in person, we offering a Virtual option as well!

After your run, come enjoy Pancakes + music and fun at the Celebration Firehouse!  Pancakes are included with your registration and friends and family can enjoy them with you for an small additional fee!

The Rotary Club of Celebration is a local chapter of Rotary International, a global network of community service organizations. The Club is committed to serving the community through various charitable initiatives, fostering goodwill, and promoting ethical practices. The Rotary Club of Celebration has distributed tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships, and proceeds from the Run/Walk are distributed to various local charities.

**EVENT TIMELINE: ** 6:30am – Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens  7:15am - 10K Start begins 7:30am – 5K Fun Run & Walk begins 8:45am - 5K Awards Ceremony 9:00am - 10K Awards Ceremony 9:15am – FREE Kids’ Dashes begin

RACE T-SHIRTS: All participants who register for the 5K and 10K races will receive a unisex tech tee shirt!  Sizes are guaranteed through November 7, 2026.

**FINISHER MEDALS: ** All PAID 5K and 10K participants will receive a custom Celebration 5K and 10K Pancake Run and Walk presented by the Celebration Rotary themed finisher medal. 

5K AND 10K RACE AWARDS: Awards will go to the top 3 overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races. Plus we will award the top 3 men and women in each age category:  11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

**WEATHER: ** Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

**SAFETY RULES: ** In order to ensure safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited from the race course. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

STROLLERS: Strollers are allowed in the 5k event only.   Nurturing future generations of runners/walkers is a priority as is demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our children. We do ask those registrants participating with a stroller to line up after the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up on the day of the race. Only paid registrants of the 5K Fun Run/Walk will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive a medal, please register for them to participate in the Run/Walk.

**PACKET PICKUP INFORMATION: ** EARLY Packet Pick-Up will take place on Friday, November 20th from at the Stetson University building located at 800 Celebration Avenue, Celebration, FL 34747 from 7am - 7pm.

Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at the Celebration Fire House 72 beginning at 6:30 am. However, please do allow additional time to pick up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.
