💥 Challenge Yourself Like a Hero Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, the Miles of Steel Challenge is built to push your limits, keep you moving, and reward you like the superhero you are.
From November 1 through November 30, 2026, here is your mission:
🎯 Walk and/or run 80 purposeful/training miles and build your medal as you achieve your milestones. 🏃♀️ Anywhere, anytime, at your own pace 🌍 Virtual – open to all ages and abilities, everywhere
🏅 Epic Finisher Medal Included Every participant will receive a huge 5+ inch custom-designed Miles of Steel medal!
💡 What makes it even cooler? The medal features 8 milestone pieces in the shape of crystals like the fortress, each representing 10 miles. As you progress, "build" your medal piece by piece and watch your accomplishment come to life.
📲 How It Works 📍Track Your Miles: Log your walks/runs manually or sync from your favorite app on our RunSignup challenge page.
📈 See Your Progress: Watch your tracking bar fill up, milestones unlock and compare your stats with others on the leaderboard.
🦸 Connect with the Community: Join our Facebook group (Virtual Races by Relevant Running) to share your journey, celebrate milestones, and stay motivated.
📦 Shipping Info Medals (including the 8 magnetic milestone pieces) will ship together during the first week of the challenge, so you can start building your medal as you go. US shipping is included in the price. Participants outside the US will be contacted by the Race Director regarding any extra shipping charges.
