She achieved her season’s best at the FSU Invitational (Pre-State) at the end of September, completing the 5K race in a swift 17:35.50. Other events in which she displayed her prowess include the Katie Caples Invitational with a time of 17:48.82, the 13th Annual Hawks on the Hill Invitational with a 17:42.00 finish, and the Winter Springs Invitational 2023 where she clocked in at 17:41.52. Starting the season strong, Tomasic also competed in the Cecil Field Summer Classic in late August, where she completed the race in 18:15.00.
