Estero 3D Invitational, Run Through the Race Simulator: Fort Myers by 41, Aubrey Rogers by 29, and Both Individual Titles Flip With the Toggle

Estero Cross Country 3D Invite (DDD Sommer Invitational), hosted by Estero High School. Estero Community Park, Estero. Saturday, September 5, 2026. Varsity girls 7:20 a.m., varsity boys 7:50, JV girls 8:15, JV boys 8:45. Seven runners per team in the varsity races.

Thirty-one boys' programs and thirty girls' are on the entry list, almost all of them from Lee, Collier, Charlotte, DeSoto, Hendry and Glades counties, plus one long-distance visitor from Fort Lauderdale. We took every one of them, dropped them into our Race Simulator, and scored both varsity races the way Saturday will score them. Every runner is entered on the best thing he or she has run in 2026, leveled to a common course. Top seven per team, five score, sixth and seventh displace.

The short version. Fort Myers 3A wins the boys' race by 41 points with three of the first five finishers, and every one of their five is entered on a Cecil Field time, so there is no course arithmetic in their number at all. Aubrey Rogers 3A wins the girls' race by 29 on the tightest pack in either race, five girls inside 21 seconds. Estero, the host, is third in the girls' race on its own hill. And both individual titles change hands depending on which clock you use: on raw times it is Reed Hagen and Madison Easton, and on course-leveled times it is Dylan Macias-Buenrostro and a seventh grader named Emily Del Mazo-Collado.

About the times. Every mark below is the time the runner actually ran, and where. The last column is what that time is worth at Cecil Field, the reference course, and that is the number the scoring uses. A team needs five runners with a 2026 mark to score; the teams that do not have five are listed after each race. The simulator does not project, so nobody is entered on last November. One thing to know about this field before reading any of it: nearly everyone here has raced exactly twice, at the Lehigh Invite on August 22 and the Cape Coral Seahawk Invite on August 29. Lehigh ran fast and Cape Coral ran slow, and which of the two a runner is entered on decides a lot of the order below.

Boys: Fort Myers by 41, and the winner depends on the toggle

Fort Myers 3A scores 38, placing 2-3-5-13-15. Reed Hagen (So.) and Trae Britton (Jr.) are second and third in the field, one second apart at 16:19.0 and 16:20.0, then Noah Lefko (Fr.) fifth, Elijah Brown (So.) thirteenth and Brock Jackson (Sr.) fifteenth, with Ben Moss (So.) 22nd as the sixth man. Five in 1:23, a 17:01.2 average, all of it from Cecil Field on opening night, which means their graded times and their raw times are the same numbers. This is the seventh-ranked team in our 3A list, and the only team from any of our top tens in the boys' race. Hagen was 17th in 3A at state as a freshman.

Cape Coral 4A is second at 79 on Ruben Viera De Lemos (Sr.) sixth, Mason Boyer (Jr.) eighth, and then three sophomores named Jendrusiak: Hunter ninth, Chase eighteenth and Michael as the fifth scorer. Their whole scoring five is entered on the Seahawk Invite, their own home meet, which ran about 24 seconds slow for boys, so every one of their marks gets better when the courses are leveled. Viera De Lemos was 47th in 3A at state last November and did not finish at Lehigh, so the Seahawk race is the only 2026 mark he has.

Pine Crest 2A is third at 118, and they are the one team in this field that will have driven across the state to be here. Emilio Tobon, a freshman, is seventh on his 16:56.9 at Pine Crest's own meet, with Cooper Baylis-Gaba (Jr.) fourteenth and Edward Wang (Sr.) sixteenth. Their home course rates about fifteen seconds fast, so those marks give a little back.

Southwest Florida Christian 1A is fourth at 121 with the tightest five in the race, 1:09 from first man to fifth: Nash Akers (So.) twelfth, Ty Piper (Jr.) 21st, Aiden Stratton (Jr.) 24th, Shepard Anderson (Jr.) 31st and Liam Piper, an eighth grader, 33rd. Here is the catch. Akers ran 16:40.9 at the North Port Preserve Pursuit, which is the fifth-fastest raw time in this field, and North Port is a course the simulator rates close to a minute fast for boys. Level it and his mark is worth 17:34.3. Score the race on best times instead and Southwest Florida Christian is second at 83 and Akers is fifth. The pack is real either way; how high it finishes is a question about one course.

Gulf Coast 3A is fifth at 148 on freshman Timothy Kutz tenth and sophomores Daniel Justus and Arian Justus twentieth and 23rd. Naples 3A is sixth at 182 with the best front-runner in the class field: Jeb Bremerman (So.) won the Lehigh Invite in 16:26.6 and is fourth here, then a 3:37 gap to Naples' fifth man. Aubrey Rogers 3A (187) and Gateway 4A (193) are seventh and eighth, Gateway on a 1:43 pack with nobody inside the first 26. Charlotte 3A is ninth at 261, and Jackson Winkler (Jr.) is the same story as Akers: 16:52.8 at North Port, sixth in the field raw, seventeenth leveled.

One tie. Community School (Naples) 1A and Mariner 3A both score 321, and Community School takes tenth on the sixth runner, because Mariner has exactly five boys with a 2026 mark and no sixth to break the tie with. Estero, the host, is twelfth at 322, one point behind both, also on exactly five runners. Vlad Doty (Sr.) leads them in 36th.

Now the individual race. Dylan Macias-Buenrostro (Mariner, Jr., 3A) won the Seahawk Invite in 16:34.7, on the slow course, which is worth 16:10.7 level, and that wins him the simulated race by eight seconds over Hagen. Score it on best times and he is fourth, behind Hagen, Britton and Bremerman, because the Fort Myers pair ran at Cecil Field and Bremerman ran at Lehigh, and none of those times has anything to give back. He was eighth in 3A at state last November in 16:03.6, the best credential in this field by some distance, and he appears in result files as "Dylan Macias." The four of them have not been on the same start line in 2026. Saturday fixes that.

Score the same race on best times and the winner does not move: Fort Myers 49, then Southwest Florida Christian 83, Cape Coral 89, Pine Crest 112, Naples 168. The teams that move most are the ones entered on the fast courses. Riverdale, whose whole seven ran Lehigh, is tenth raw and thirteenth graded. Community School, entered mostly on Cape Coral, is fourteenth raw and tenth graded. Charlotte drops from seventh to ninth.

Not scoreable: Barron Collier 3A, Everglades City 1A, Lely 3A, Moore Haven 1A and Palmetto Ridge 3A each have four boys with a 2026 mark; Canterbury 1A and Marco Island Academy 1A have two; Island Coast 3A has none. Clewiston 2A, South Fort Myers 3A and Naples Classical are not in our database at all.

Boys, first twelve

Girls: Aubrey Rogers by 29, the host third, and a seventh grader out front

Aubrey Rogers 3A scores 64, placing 10-11-12-15-16, and they do it without a runner in the top nine. Brooks Lyons, Caroline Weidenmiller and Ella Sindledecker, all sophomores, are tenth, eleventh and twelfth within three seconds of each other. Eva Atanasov (Fr.) and Bowie Russell (Jr.) are fifteenth and sixteenth, and Addison Farr (Jr.) is 23rd as the sixth. First girl to fifth is 21 seconds, every one of them from the Seahawk Invite. This is the team that was nowhere on our 3A list a week ago and is ninth now, on that single race. They win on best times too, 71 to 97.

Fort Myers 3A is second at 93, and their build is the same one their boys have, one row down: Lyla Parker (Sr.) thirteenth, Kayden Smutney (So.) fourteenth, Maegan Adkins (So.) eighteenth, Gianna Lemons (Jr.) 22nd and Amelia Ford (Fr.) 26th, a 1:05 spread and nobody inside the first twelve.

Estero 3A is third at 108, on its own course, and it is the one team in the top five with a front-runner. Gianna Gyurich (Sr.) is third in the field on her 20:45.6 at Cape Coral, worth 20:07.2, and she ran 19:56.5 at state last November in a Bishop Verot uniform. Freshman Hailey Reinike is eighth, then a gap to Addison Matthews (Fr.) 28th, Sophia Abokoora (Sr.) 31st and Dylan Rick (So.) 39th. Two girls in the first eight and a 3:46 spread. If the third, fourth and fifth close on the hill they know better than anyone, second place is nine points away.

Southwest Florida Christian 1A is fourth at 113, and it is the youngest scoring five in the meet. Ayla Tobias (Fr.) and Jayden Wilkins (Jr.) are fourth and fifth, five seconds apart. Then Noelani Love (8th grade) 29th, Julianna Idle (8th grade) 33rd, and Shiloah Love, a sixth grader, 42nd, with a seventh grader and another eighth grader as the sixth and seventh. Tobias ran 20:07.1 at North Port, the second-fastest raw time in the field, but North Port rates fast for girls too, so her Lemon Bay 20:31.4 is the mark that counts. On best times they are second at 97, ahead of Fort Myers and Estero. This is the tenth-ranked team on our 1A list.

Community School (Naples) 1A is fifth at 123 with exactly five girls and the winner of the race. Emily Del Mazo-Collado is a seventh grader. She won the Seahawk Invite outright in 20:08.7, on the slow course, which is worth 19:30.3 level and wins this simulated race by nineteen seconds. She was third at the FLYRA middle school state meet last fall and is No. 5 on our 1A girls list. Behind her, Rose O'Malley (Sr.) twentieth, Bri Gladstein, another seventh grader, 21st, Lilly Stanosheck (Fr.) 25th, and Noelle Alsokary (Sr.) 56th. No sixth runner, so any absence on Saturday takes the whole score with it.

Oasis 2A is sixth at 141, with Madison Easton (Jr.) second in the field and Lilliana Sipe (Jr.) ninth. Easton is the raw-time winner. Her 19:58.2 at Lehigh is the fastest girls' time anyone in this field has run in 2026, but the simulator scores her on her Seahawk 20:27.5, because on that slow course it is worth 19:49.1, the better of the two once both are leveled. She is No. 10 on our 2A list and was 36th in 2A at state. On the graded toggle, Del Mazo-Collado wins by nineteen seconds. On best times, Easton wins by nine over Tobias and the seventh grader is third. Same three girls, two different podiums.

Gulf Coast 3A (184), Naples 3A (197) and Barron Collier 3A (205) fill out the top nine. Barron Collier's Khloe Wilder (Jr.) is seventh in the field on 20:31.9 at Lehigh, and freshman Scarlet Partridge of Gulf Coast is ninth. Two of the first eleven finishers score for nobody: Sarah Montague (Pine Crest, Sr.) is sixth and Briana Watson (Island Coast, Sr.) eleventh, and both of their teams have fewer than five girls with a mark.

Not scoreable: Everglades City 1A, Palmetto Ridge 3A and Pine Crest 2A have four girls with a 2026 mark; Bonita Springs 3A has three; Island Coast 3A and Riverdale 4A have two; Marco Island Academy 1A, Mariner 3A, Mason Classical Academy 1A and Moore Haven 1A have one; First Baptist (Naples) 1A has none. Clewiston 2A, South Fort Myers 3A and Naples Classical are not in our database.

What the simulator cannot see

• Clewiston 2A, South Fort Myers 3A and Naples Classical are entered in both races and are not in our database. None of the three appears in a 2026 result we hold, so none of them can be scored. South Fort Myers is the one that changes the picture if they show up with a full varsity seven.
• Pine Crest's girls appear twice on the entry list. We counted them once.
• The simulator scores what has been run. A team that has not raced, or that has raced four girls, does not get a projection, and a runner who did not finish at Lehigh is scored only on what came after.
• Thirteen schools in this field carry no classification in the database. Their classes above were filled in by hand from the FHSAA 2026-27 files. Naples Classical is listed there as Independent.
• Dylan Macias-Buenrostro appears in this season's result files as "Dylan Macias," without a grade, and that is the row the simulator scored. His grade and his state credential come from his 2025 record.

Notes on the ratings

• A course rating is the gap between what runners ran at that meet and what the same runners ran at last year's state final, re-anchored so that Cecil Field, the biggest sample of the season, sits at zero. Boys use the mean of that gap and need at least five paired runners; girls use the median and need at least fifteen. Every girls' rating in this field is a measured one, none is scaled from the boys, which is unusual for a simulator post this early in the year and is the reason we trust this field's girls' order a little more than most.
• The ratings doing the work: Cape Coral Seahawk about 24 seconds slow for boys and 38 slow for girls; Lehigh about 22 seconds fast for boys and 12 fast for girls; North Port Preserve about 53 fast for boys and 34 fast for girls; Pine Crest about 15 fast for boys and neutral for girls; Lemon Bay about 24 fast for boys and neutral for girls. The North Port boys' figure is built on a small sample and is the one we would watch most closely; it decides where Southwest Florida Christian and Charlotte finish.
• The simulator recomputes its own ratings from the snapshot, so it can differ from the numbers carried in our weekly rankings posts by a few seconds. It moves times, not places.
• These are Cecil Field equivalents, not predictions of Saturday's clock. We have no rating for the Estero Community Park course itself; the meet's own description calls it two loops with a long hill, a sand pit and a double bump on the back side, and one of the toughest of its kind in the state. Expect the actual times to come back slower than the last column of these tables.
• Grades and classifications are 2026-27. Middle schoolers running varsity for private schools are eligible and are scored as entered.
